Surfacetec offers specialist testing and is an independent technical support service for the coatings sector. It has a well-equipped chemical and metallurgical analysis laboratory, that can work with clients on long-term projects or provide a rapid turn around for QC problems.

Specific services offered include reformulation studies, new product development work, process evaluations and literature searches.

Surfacetec is part of ITRI Innovation. Over many years it has developed the skills and expertise to investigate any surface finish; not just those based on tin. It applies its research-based expertise in industrial markets as demand increases for independent services and support in many areas of coatings technology.
